| Aspen Wood Log Pet Beds |
Check out our hand-made, custom pet beds! These beds are made out of standing dead aspen wood harvested from the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We do not use or cut down living trees. Our pet beds are coated and sealed with a clear, water-based clear coat which brings out the natural beauty of the wood. Each bed is unique- no two beds will ever be exactly the same. These beds come with a "mattress" and removable fleece mattress cover with your choice of color or print. All of the bedding is made by our niece, Becky. She is very crafty and does wonderful work. Since these beds are made to order and built by hand on an individual basis, please allow ample time for them to be built. Very rarely will we have one finished and ready to go when an order is placed. |
| Notice the splits in the wood? This is a natural process called "checking". Checking happens as wood releases moisture. It can be seen as tiny splits in the wood, or long splits running the full length of the log. Checking usually occurs on the surface of the wood and does not affect the integrity or structure of the finished piece. Checking adds to the rustic beauty and appeal of each log. You will also notice that we do not remove all of the knots in the wood- adding to the spectacular rustic quality of each bed. |

Aspen Wood Pet Beds $250 We are currently producing one size of pet bed, suitable for a cat or small dog. The size of the mattress is 20" long x 18" wide x 2" inches thick. The overall dimensions of the frame is roughly 23.5" long x 21" wide x 13" tall. We have many different fabric choices other than what is shown. Need something in particular? Just let us know!
